Those matches include five in the Concacaf Champions Cup (4 wins, 1 loss) and one victory in the INTERCLUBES Cup. Their only defeat came in the second leg of the first round of the Central American zone of the 1967 Concacaf Champions Cup—a 3-2 loss to Club Flor de Caña on August 13, 1967, at Estadio Municipal Chichigalpa in Chichigalpa (NCA). Despite the setback, Alianza won the series 10-3 on aggregate and went on to become Concacaf champions that year.
