CS Cartagines will participate for the second time in the Central American Cup, having been present in the 2023 edition. This time, they will aim to go beyond the quarterfinals, where they were eliminated in their first and only participation. It is one of the two Costa Rican clubs participating in the Play-In to qualify for the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup. Their all-time top scorer is Marcel Hernández (2).
