
CD Plaza Amador
CD Plaza Amador is one of the debutants in the 2025 Central American Cup. They qualified as the second-best team with the best record in Panama for the 2024-25 season. They will be the 6th Panamanian club to participate in the tournament and the 32nd in the history of Concacaf club tournaments.
Founded in 1955 in Panama, the club has a strong rivalry with Tauro FC, with whom they contest the "Clásico del fútbol panameño."
Nationally, the club has won 7 league titles (1988, 1990, 1992, Clausura 2002, Apertura 2005, Clausura 2016, Apertura 2021).
Internationally, they have participated in 5 editions of the Concacaf Champions Cup (1988, 1989, 1991, 1993, 2016-2017), and also competed in the Scotiabank Concacaf League (2017, 2021).
