BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued with Weymouth Wales FC earning a 2-1 win over Cavalier FC in Group B on Wednesday at Wildey Turf in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Wales FC opened the scoring in the 10’ as Armando Lashley ripped a shot between a pair of defenders to take the lead.
It was short-lived as Cavalier FC responded three minutes later, with Daryl Massicot tapping in a nice feed from Romarion Thomas to level it.
Wales FC scored the winning goal in the 90’+3’, when Rommel Bynoe rose up to smash a header at the back post. The Barbados side needed one more goal to advance to the semifinals but couldn’t find it as time ran out.
Wales FC finished tied with Defence Force on seven points but failed to advance due to goal difference. The club exits third in the group with a 2-1-1 record.
Reigning champion Cavalier FC ends its title defense with a 1-1-2 record and fourth place in the group.
