MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continues with Universidad O&M FC hosting Cibao FC in the First Leg of their Semifinals series on Thursday at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

This will be the first-ever matchup between these Dominican clubs in a Concacaf competition. The tilt is also a rematch of the 2024 Liga Dominicana de Fútbol Final, which Cibao FC won 4-3 on aggregate.

It will be Universidad O&M FC’s first appearance in a regional semifinal. Universidad O&M FC will turn to Isaac Báez and Herard Frantzety to continue driving an offense that racked up six goals in the Group Stage.

Cibao FC is back in the semifinal for the second straight year after finishing last year’s edition as runners-up. The Group B winners are in strong form, having won four of its last five matches. The side is anchored by Rivaldo Correa, who is the Caribbean Cup all-time leading scorer with nine goals.

In the last 26 domestic meetings between the clubs, Cibao FC holds a slight edge over Universidad O&M FC, with nine wins to eight, and nine draws. Cibao has never lost (2 draws) to a fellow Dominican side in the Caribbean Cup.
