SANTIAGO DE LOS CABALLEROS, Dominican Republic — The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued as Universidad O&M FC earned a 1-nil victory over Cibao FC, winning 2-1 on aggregate, in the Second Leg of their Semifinals series on Thursday at Estadio Cibao FC in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
Herard Frantzety scored the game’s lone goal in the 67’, as he smashed a curler from outside of the box for his fourth goal of the tournament.
Rivaldo Correa had Cibao’s only on target attempt in the 85’, but the reigning runners-up could not get one past Iraitz Gelbentzu.
Universidad O&M FC will play Mount Pleasant FA in the Concacaf Caribbean Cup Final. By advancing to the championship match, Universidad O&M FC has clinched its participation in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup.
Cibao FC will play Defence Force FC in Third-Place series for the last available Champions Cup berth from the Caribbean region.
