MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continues with Mount Pleasant FA hosting Universidad O&M FC in Group A on Tuesday at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

It will be the first-ever meeting between the two clubs as Mount Pleasant has never faced a Dominican team in international tournaments. O&M will also be playing a Jamaican club for the first time.

Mount Pleasant is flying high with a club record three wins and three clean sheets so far in this tournament. They are coming off a 2-nil victory over Central FC in which Raheem Edwards became the youngest player to score for the club in the competition at 22 years, 10 months, 14 days.

The Jamaican side has their spot in the semifinals booked, but O&M FC is still in contention for a top two finish.

The Dominican club is coming off a 2-1 defeat that has them playing for everything on the final match of the Group Stage. Isaac Báez found the back of the net in that encounter, moving into a tie as the club’s all-time leading scorer in this tournament.

Historical Series

This will be a first-ever encounter between the two clubs in the Concacaf Caribbean Cup. In fact, it will mark Mount Pleasant’s debut match against a team from the Dominican Republic in any international tournament. Likewise, it will be O&M FC’s first match against a Jamaican side in the history of the competition.

It will also be just the second time a Dominican and a Jamaican club meet during Matchday 5 of the group stage. The previous occasion occurred on October 5, 2023, when Cibao FC earned a 2-1 win over Harbour View in Group B at Estadio Cibao FC in Santiago de los Caballeros (DOM). Yohan Parra and Carlos Heredia (penalty) scored for the home side, while Shaqueil Bradford netted for the Jamaican club.

How did they fare in Week 4?

Mount Pleasant FA secured a 2-0 win over Central FC thanks to goals from Raheem Edwards in the 51st minute and Chevaughn Walsh in the 90th. Universidad O&M fell 2-1 to Moca FC, with Isaac Báez scoring O&M’s lone goal — his first of the tournament.

• Mount Pleasant on a roll: With this victory, the Jamaican side set a new club record with three consecutive wins in the Caribbean Cup. They’ve also kept three straight clean sheets — another first in their tournament history.

• Raheem Edwards makes history: Edwards became the youngest player ever to score for Mount Pleasant in the Caribbean Cup at 22 years, 10 months, and 14 days — surpassing Jahshaun Anglin, who was 23 years, 3 months, and 21 days old when he scored the club’s historic first goal in the tournament on August 27, 2024, against Arnett Gardens.

• First loss for O&M: The university side suffered its first-ever defeat in Caribbean Cup play, ending a two-match winning streak. Including appearances prior to the 2023 edition, their unbeaten run closes at three wins (1 in 2021, 2 in 2025) and one draw (2021).

• Historic milestone for Isaac Báez: With his second goal in the competition, Báez tied Herard Frantzety as O&M’s all-time top scorer in the Caribbean Cup (2 goals each) and matched him for most goal involvements (2 goals and 1 assist apiece).
