MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup kicks off with Mount Pleasant FA against SV Robinhood in Group A on Tuesday at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

Jamaican side Mount Pleasant will be making its second appearance in the tournament after debuting in 2024, in which they club exited in the group stage. Jahshaun Anglin and Kimoni Bailey have each scored a goal for the side to lead the club all-time.

Surinamese side SV Robinhood returns to the Caribbean Cup after winning the inaugural edition in 2023, where it defeated Cavalier FC in the Final, to complete the double after winning the Concacaf Caribbean Club Shield. Shaquille Cairo is the club’s leading scorer in the tournament’s history with five goals.

Mount Pleasant and SV Robinhood will meet for the first time in any competition. This will also the first encounter against a team from Suriname for Mount Pleasant. Robinhood will meet a Jamaican club for the fifth time (3W, 1L).
