MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup concludes with Mount Pleasant FA hosting Universidad O&M FC in the Second Leg of their series in the Final on Tuesday at Independence Park in Kingston, Jamaica.

Mount Pleasant FA holds a 1-nil lead on aggregate after winning the First Leg in the Dominican Republic, thanks to a goal from Kimoni Bailey.

The Jamaican side’s defense, along with goalkeeper Tafari Chambers, has been stellar all tournament, only conceding two goals so far. Mount Pleasant’s First Leg win marked the team’s fifth clean sheet in the 2025 edition after collecting four during the Group Stage.

Mount Pleasant is looking to become the second consecutive Jamaican club to win the tournament after Cavalier SC took the crown in the 2024 edition.

Universidad O&M FC is seeking its first win ever over Mount Pleasant and will turn to their scorer Herard Frantzety to get the offense going. Frantzety leads the tournament with four goals and has five total goal contributions.

O&M FC goalkeeper Iraitz Gelbentzu has been a standout throughout the whole campaign, leading the current edition with 26 saves.

The first time these teams faced each other was in the Group Stage, where Mount Pleasant obtained a 2-nil victory on September 30 with goals from Radial Irving and Ranaldo Biggs.

The club that wins on aggregate will lift its first Caribbean Cup trophy. If the teams are tied on aggregate, away goals will be the first tiebreaker. If necessary, extra time and a penalty shootout will be played to decide the winner.

Both clubs have already qualified to the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup, but the champion will receive a bye to the Round of 16.
