KINGSTON, Jamaica — The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued as Defence Force FC earned a 1-nil victory over Mount Pleasant FA, with the latter winning 5-2 on aggregate, in the Second Leg of their Semifinals series on Wednesday at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

The Jamaican side won the First Leg, 5-1, and will play the winner of Cibao FC and Universidad O&M FC in the Caribbean Cup Final.

Kevin Molino scored the lone goal in the 13’, making a strong run into the box and tapping in a pass from Shaquille Bertrand. 

The goal marked the second Mount Pleasant FA allowed all tournament. It is also the club’s first loss in the 2025 edition, snapping a five-match win streak.

Despite dominating the game with 68% possession, Mount Pleasant could not find an equalizer, as Defence Force keeper Isaiah Williams stood out with seven saves.

By advancing to the Caribbean Cup Final, Mount Pleasant FA has clinched a spot in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup.

Defence Force will play the Third-Place series against the other losing semifinalist for the last available Champions Cup berth.
