MOCA, Dominican Republic — The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued with Mount Pleasant FA earning a 2-nil victory over Moca FC in Group A on Wednesday at Estadio Moca 85 in Moca, Dominican Republic.
Daniel Green recorded a brace for Mount Pleasant, scoring in both halves to put the Jamaican club atop Group A with six points.
Green opened the scoring in the 31’, as he sped down the left wing and finished with a low shot. His second goal came in the 60’ with a strong left-footed blast to double the lead.
Following the goal, Moca FC’s Valentín Sabella received a red card in the 61’.
Tafari Chambers delivered four saves to earn his second clean sheet of the 2025 edition.
Moca FC will seek its first win in its next Group Stage match on September 16 versus Central FC.
Mount Pleasant continues its Caribbean Cup campaign on September 23 against Central FC.
