KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued with Cavalier FC earning a 2-1 win over Defence Force FC in Group B on Wednesday at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.
Defence Force opened the scoring two minutes in as Kaihim Thomas knocked in a cross from Isaiah Garcia to stun the hosts.
The reigning Caribbean Cup champions found the equalizer in the 21’ as a ball got past two defenders, and Daryl Massicot was there to slot it home.
Cavalier FC scored the winner in the 82’, as a cross over the top from Adrian Reid fell perfectly to the feet of Christopher Ainsworth for the crucial goal, which helped them snap a three-match winless streak in the 2025 edition.
Defence Force will host Weymouth Wales in its next Group Stage encounter next Thursday, as the Trinidadian club seeks a victory to jump into the top two and improve on its 1-0-1 record.
Cavalier FC will take on Weymouth Wales in its last match of the Group Stage on October 1. The Jamaican side will seek to improve on its 1-1-1 record and continue its title defense.
