MIAMI, Florida – Canada will look to hold up their first leg advantage when they meet Haiti in the second leg of the second round of Concacaf World Cup Qualifying for Qatar 2022 on Tuesday night at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois.

The Canadians emerged from Saturday’s first leg in Haiti with a 1-0 win thanks to a first half goal from Cyle Larin, and now the Canadians will be aiming to reach the Final Round of CWCQ for the first time since France 1998.

Haiti had no shortage of scoring opportunities though, particularly in a thrilling second half that saw the Canadian defense aptly turn away the Haiti attack.

Nevertheless, the Caribbean side will be looking to evoke memories of their famous 3-2 comeback win over the Canadians in the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup quarterfinals when they rallied from a 2-0 halftime deficit to win.

Canada have definitely taken a shine to SeatGeek Stadium, in particular FW Jonathan David, who scored a hat trick in last week’s 4-0 win over Suriname in Bridgeview.

David, along with the ever-dangerous Alphonso Davies, give Canada a one-two punch that is capable of landing a knockout blow to the Haitians.
