BELMOPAN, Belize – Rowan Liburd notched a hat trick to help lead Saint Kitts and Nevis to a 4-0 victory over Belize in Group B action in League C of the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League on Thursday night at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan, Belize.

Saint Kitts and Nevis enjoyed a quick start and Omari Sterling gave them a 1-0 lead with an excellent right-footed finish in the 12’.

Belize looked to respond, but it was Saint Kitts and Nevis who struck again next, this time just three minutes into the second half as Liburd coolly converted a penalty kick to double the lead to 2-0.

Liburd would once again prove to be a thorn in the side of the Belize defense by finishing off a cross to make it a 3-0 Saint Kitts and Nevis lead.

Liburd’s dream night would conclude with his third goal, this time in the 63’ to complete the hat trick and seal the three points for the Sugar Boyz.

Saint Kitts and Nevis will do battle again on Tuesday in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis.
