SAN CRISTOBAL, Dominican Republic – Women’s World Cup qualifying in CONCACAF resumes on Wednesday with the continuation of first round play in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Women’s Caribbean Cup, when Group 5 kicks off in the Dominican Republic.
Due to the withdrawal of Anguilla, three teams will now vie for a final round berth at the Estadio Panamericano.
The Group 5 schedule is as follows:
Wednesday – June 18, 2014
Dominican Republic v St. Lucia
Friday – June 20, 2014
St. Lucia v Jamaica
Sunday – June 22, 2014
Dominican Republic v Jamaica
The CFU Women’s Caribbean Cup is being contested for the first time and is also being utilized as a qualifying competition for the 2014 CONCACAF Women’s Championship.
Antigua & Barbuda, Bermuda, Haiti and Martinique have already secured final round places, along with Trinidad and Tobago, which will host the competition, August 19-26, 2014.
