MEXICO CITY – Mexico will meet Senegal in an international friendly on February 10, 2016, at Marlins Park in Miami, it was announced Tuesday.
The match will be the second-ever between the sides. On May 10, 2010, Mexico posted a 1-0 win in front of a sold-out crowd of 60,610 fans at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The seven-time CONCACAF Gold Cup champion is currently riding a 14-game unbeaten streak and is 2W-0D-0L under head coach Juan Carlos Osorio, who was appointed to the post in October.
Mexico will use the game as preparation for a pair of World Cup qualifiers against Canada the following month (March 25, away; March 29, home).
