VALLADOLID, Spain – After two seasons in Spain’s Segunda División B, Barcelona B returned to the Segunda División with a 2-0 win over host Valladolid on Saturday.at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla.
Honduras international Antony Lozano, on his debut, played a key role in the result.
The 24-year-old forward opened the scoring in the 28th minute, finishing a Rodri Tarin pass from the right.
Ten minutes later, Lozano assisted on Marc Cardona’s goal.
Lozano, a former Olimpia star, joined Barcelona in July following two years with Tenerife, where he scored 20 goals in 66 games.
Barcelona B returns to action on August 28, when it hosts – coincidentally – Tenerife.
