CHICAGO -- Defender Tierna Davidson will remain with the United States women’s national team for its international friendly against visiting Denmark on Sunday in San Diego, California, before flying to Trinidad & Tobago for the 2018 CONCACAF Under-20 Women’s Championship, U.S. Soccer announced.

The 19-year-old, who recently helped Stanford University to the 2017 NCAA Championship title, could earn her first senior cap.

The U.S. opens play in the CONCACAF event on Friday against Nicaragua.  Davidson appeared in five games and scored one goal during the Americans’ run to the 2015 CONCACAF Under-20 Women’s Championship crown.
