BRADENTON, Florida – History was made on Sunday at the 2018 Concacaf Under-20 Championship in Group D as Dominica achieved its first ever CU20 victory in a 3-2 final over Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Jamie Parillon was the hero for Dominica with a brace (3’, 66’), the latter proving to be the game-winning goal against the young Sugar Boyz.

There was plenty of drama in the group’s opening match as well, as Canada edged Guadeloupe 2-1.

Mathieu Choiniere opened the scoring for Canada in the 7’ only for Luther Archimede to equalize in the 46’. However, Adonijah Reid scored late in the 79’ to deliver the three points to the Canadians.

The day’s action in the group was rounded out by Panama’s 5-1 triumph over Martinique in which Angel Orelien’s braces (32’, 37’) led the way for the Canaleros.
