Panama rallies past Saint Kitts and Nevis to finish unbeaten in Group D

BRADENTON, Florida Panama rallied past Saint Kitts and Nevis 2-1 to finish first in Group D with a perfect 5W-0D-0L record and a spot in the Qualification Stage.

The young Sugar Boyz got out to a 1-0 lead through Romario Martin in the 31’, but the Canaleros mounted a furious late comeback and claimed the three points thanks to goals from Diego Valanta in the 82’ and Axel McKenzie in the 85.

Canada wrapped up its Group D campaign with a solid second place finish after posting a 2-1 win against Martinique.

The Canadians struck early with a pair of goals from Steffen Yeates (8’) and Clement Bayiha (15’) and managed to hold on for the three points, despite a second half penalty conversion from Martinique Raphael Axel (69’).

Guadeloupe also enjoying a victorious finale in the CU20 by cruising past Dominica 3-0. Dylan Laug got things going in the 2’ with a goal, followed by scores in each half from Luther Archimede (14’, 72’).
