CHICAGO – U.S. Soccer announced Wednesday that for the third consecutive year, it will hold the U-17 Women's NTC Invitational, a four-team tournament at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Carson, California, next month.

The 2016 edition will run from February 11-15, as the Americans host England, Japan and Korea Republic.

"Since its inception two years ago, the U-17 Women's NTC Invitational has been a tremendous showcase for women's soccer and we are sure this year will be no different," said U.S. head coach B.J. Snow.  "We have brought in three great teams that will provide us an excellent platform to evaluate where we are as a team and help us prepare for World Cup Qualifying.”

The U.S. is preparing for the 2016 CONCACAF Under-17 Women’s Championship (March 3-13, 2016, in Grenada), which also serves as a qualifying competition for the next FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

In last year’s U-17 Women’s NTC Invitational, Ashley Sanchez scored in all three matches (five goals in total), leading the Americans to a perfect 3W-0D-0L record and a second consecutive title.
