Position Title:  Development Coordinator                                Department: Development
Reports to: Senior Manager of Club Licensing and Development
Supports: Director of Development
Position based in:  Headquarters Miami Beach


We are “The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football” and one of six continental confederations of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association). CONCACAF serves as the governing body of football in this part of the world. It is compose of 41 national associations united by the passion for football, from Canada in the north to Guyana, Surinam and French Guyana in the south.

CONCACAF is committed to develop, promote and manage football throughout the region.  


The principal responsibility will be assisting the department in the implementation of the Confederation’s Club Licensing system and play a key part in the overall Development strategy.

He/ She needs to complete all administrative projects by identifying and implementing new technology and resources.


  • Work with the Manager, Club licensing and Development and Development Manager in supporting the implementation of CONCACAF’s Club Licensing and Development programs.
  • Responsible for all logistics for events and projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of the structure of CONCACAF’s Member Associations
  • Applicable Industry contacts required (i.e. has had previous contact with various Clubs in the CONCACAF)
  • Strong familiarity with CONCACAF’s Champions League Tournament
  • Responsible for all first level reviewing and editing of emails/letters that are sent from the Development Department
  • Assist in the creation of year end reports
  • Contribute to on-going projects and presentations
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and occasionally work overtime and/or weekends
  • Excellent administration, grammar and presentation skills
  • English and Spanish fluency; French and Dutch a strong plus
  • Detailed oriented
  • Excellent familiarity and comfort with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word (a test may be given to verify these skills)
  • Comfortable with public speaking (may be required to speak at official opening ceremonies on behalf of CONCACAF)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to travel (up to 50%)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ideal candidate must be bi-lingual (English and Spanish).
  • Effective written communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Excellent familiarity and comfort with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word (a test may be given to verify these skills)
  • Self-Motivated
  • Strong positive attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, High attention to detail
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S

Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules including game nights to reflect the business needs of the company.
