CHICAGO – Toyota Stadium will be the venue for the second leg of the Olympic Qualifying playoff between the host United States and Colombia on March 29, U.S. Soccer announced Tuesday.

The series will open four days earlier in Barranquilla, Colombia, with the winner earning a spot in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Last October, the Americans topped Canada, 2-0, in the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship third-place match to set-up a meeting with the South Americans. They had won their three group-stage matches by a combined score of 13-2, before falling 2-0 in the semifinals to Honduras, which secured one of the Confederation’s two automatic berths.

The U.S. has not competed in an Olympics since Beijing 2008. Its best Olympic showing came at Sydney 2000, when the team finished fourth after dropping a 2-0 decision to Chile in the bronze medal match.
