Position Title:  Women’s Football Coordinator                
Department: Development
Reports to: Head of Women’s Football
Position based in: Concacaf Headquarters Miami, FL



We are The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, one of six continental confederations of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association). Concacaf serves as the governing body of football in this part of the world. It is composed of 41 national associations united by the passion for football, from Canada in the north to Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana in the south.


Concacaf is committed to develop, promote and manage football throughout the region.  


The Women’s Football Coordinator will provide support for the Women’s Football Department in areas such as administration, development, digital, branding and marketing. As this is a new department at Concacaf, this position will work closely with the Concacaf Head of Women’s Football in various initiatives to promote and educate key stakeholders across the Concacaf region and beyond.




  • Analyze the current state of the women’s football landscape across the Member Associations (MA) and other organizations
  • Research current MA professional and recreational women’s leagues and level of play, women working in coaching, refereeing, administration, etc.
  • Review internal and external programs available to women’s football and assist in acquiring support needed
  • Provide recommendations with all findings
  • Review internal and external programs available to women’s football and assist in acquiring support needed
  • Review collaborative opportunities with said programs and explore mentorship programs with the MAs and women in football in the region


  • Work with the Head of Women’s Football in constructing and building strategies for the department initiatives across the region
  • Ensure continued development and improvement of the sport to increase access and participate in the region by working closely with external entities such as leagues, Federations and FIFA
  • Create relationships and act as a point of contact for stakeholders (Internal, Concacaf Women’s Football Committee, Concacaf Member Associations, clubs, FIFA, other football confederations, etc.);
  • Conceptualize innovative ways to promote the women’s game and brand
  • Coordinate and assist in the planning and execution of special events relating to department
  • Support the commercial and digital teams in women’s football projects and content creation


  • Create content for necessary proposals, pitches and presentations for events and workshops
  • Draft all women’s department communications such as agendas, letters, invitations and circulars
  • Create and manage master calendar of all women’s internal and external events
  • Coordinate and manage aspects of Concacaf Women’s Football Department hosted events and meetings including but not limiting to logistics, accommodations, and transportation
  • Assist in compiling budgets and forecasts for all department initiatives
  • Prepare reports on all women’s football department initiatives


The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that s/he can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities

  • Bachelor’s in Sports Management or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in the sports industry from 3 to 5 years in football administration and international organization
  • Proficient in English and Spanish languages preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  • Knowledge of football and interest in women’s football
  • Ability to solve issues in a multicultural environment
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills (English and French or Spanish)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while working as both part of a team as well as independently
  • Candidate must have the flexibility to travel nationally and internationally for the performance of his/her duties.


Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules including game nights to reflect the business needs of the company.
