CHICAGO -- The Copa America Local Organizing Committee confirmed Tuesday the official pairings and kickoff times of the Copa America Centenario quarterfinal matches.

Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, United States and Venezuela are the eight nations that have qualified to the knockout round of this historic tournament, which is the most attended Copa America in its 100-year history and on track to become the second highest attended official soccer tournament in the United States after the 1994 FIFA World Cup.

The quarterfinal winners will advance to the semifinals, which are slated to be contested on June 21 at NRG Stadium in Houston and June 22 at Soldier Field in Chicago.

The match for third place will be played on June 25 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, with the Final taking place on a day later at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Mexico will be making its eight appearance in a Copa America quarterfinals, while the USA will be making its second. The CONCACAF powers squared off against each other at the stage of the 1995 edition. The Americans prevailed 4-1 on penalty kicks after a scoreless draw.
