KINGSTON, Jamaica – Portmore United of Jamaica opened the 2019 Flow Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship in winning fashion with a 1-0 victory over Real Hope of Haiti on Sunday at Stadium East in Kingston, Jamaica.

A Javon East score in the 3’ was all that the host side would need, as GK Shaven Paul and the Portmore United defense held things down the rest of the way to record the clean sheet victory and the three points.

Portmore United sits atop the 2019 FCCCC table with three points and will next face Capoise of Haiti on Tuesday.
