KINGSTON, Jamaica – AS Capoise of Haiti is on its way to the 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf League after defeating fellow Haitian side Real Hope 3-2 on Thursday in the final matchday of the 2019 Flow Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship at Stadium East in Kingston, Jamaica.

Real Hope still have an opportunity to qualify for the 2019 SCL should it defeat Robinhood of Suriname in the Concacaf League Playoff on Sunday.

Spencer Desir had Real Hope feeling good about things after his goal in the 1’, but Frantz Moise would pull Capoise level 1-1 with a goal in the 35’.

The momentum stayed with Capoise, and it tacked on two goals in the early stages of the second half when a Denilson Pierre own goal in the 51’ and another Moise goal in the 55’ extended Capoise’s lead to 3-1.

Real Hope did not throw in the towel though, and Roody Joseph made for an interesting final few minutes after his goal in the 82’.

However, in the end, the Capoise defense would batten down the hatches to seal the victory.
