Sixteen teams vying for top honors at 2018 Under-13 SCCL

TOLUCA, Mexico – On Wednesday the 2018 Under-13 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League will kick off in Toluca, Mexico with 16 teams vying for top youth club honors in the region.

A total of 10 Concacaf Member Associations will be represented by the 16 clubs in a tournament that will be played over two rounds, finishing with the final on August 22.

It begins with round robin play in which the four group winners and four second-place finishers will advance to a knockout stage.

Eliminated clubs will also have the opportunity to continue playing in competitive matches in a Shield Tournament to determine the teams’ final placement.

Past champions of the Under-13 SCCL are: Toluca of Mexico in 2015, Santa Ana of El Salvador in 2016 and Universidad Cantera Norte of Mexico in 2017.
