KINGSTON, Jamaica – First round, Day Two play in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Caribbean Cup continued on Friday with eight matches at various locations throughout the region.

CONCACAF.com recaps of all the evening’s action:

GROUP 3 (at Fort de France, Martinique -- Stade Pierre-Aliker)

Martinique 3, Barbados 2

Martinique (2-0-0, 6 points) earned qualification to the next round of Caribbean Cup qualifying, coming from two goals down to beat Barbados, 3-2.  Barbados (0-1-1, 1 point) took a 2-0 lead into the break through tallies from Ricardo Morris (13’) and Carl Joseph (30’).  The French-speaking side stormed back, though, halving the deficit thanks to an own-goal by Barbados captain Emmerson Boyce (57’).  Gael Germany (68’) levelled with his fourth goal in two games, setting the stage for Jose Goron’s game-winner nine minutes from the end.

Suriname 2, Bonaire 3

Bonaire (1-0-1, 3 points) bounced back from Wednesday’s heavy 6-0 loss to Martinique with a 3-2 victory over Suriname (0-1-1, 1 point).  Lacey Pauletta (6’) and Yurick Seinpaal (12’) scored early to give the eventual winner a 2-0 half-time lead.  Suehendley Barzey (70’) added a penalty kick to stretch Bonaire’s lead, before Miguel Cronie (80’ pen, 82’) netted twice in two minutes to set-up a tense finish.

GROUP 4 (at Bayamon, Puerto Rico -- Estadio Juan Ramon Loubriel)

Curacao 2, Grenada 1

Grenada let an early lead slip away, falling 2-1 to Curacao.  Wendell Rennie (4’) put the Spice Boys ahead shortly after kick-off, but Curacao reversed its fortunes in the second half.  Prince Mathilda (57’) equalized with his second goal in as many games and Gevaro Nepomuceno (62’) netted what proved to be the game-winner five minutes later.

Puerto Rico 1, French Guiana 2

A second-half brace by Gabriel Pigree (60’, 90’) propelled French Guiana to a 2-1 victory over Puerto Rico.  The home side took a 1-0 lead through Isidro Metapan’s Hector Ramos (39’) only for Pigree to provide the second-half heroics.

GROUP 5 (at St. John’s, Antigua & Barbuda -- Antigua Recreation Grounds)

St. Vincent & the Grenadines 4, Anguilla 0

St. Vincent & the Grenadines (2-0-0, 6 points) secured a place in the second round with a 4-0 win over Anguilla (0-0-2, 0 points).  Striker Oalax Anderson (39’, 77’) netted a brace, while Myron Samuel (36’ pen) and midfielder Azinho Solomon (71’) contributed a goal each..

Antigua & Barbuda 2, Dominican Republic 1

A 70th minute strike by substitute Nathaniel Jarvis propelled host Antigua & Barbuda (2-0-0, 3 points) to a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Dominican Republic (0-0-2, 0 points).  Jarvis was in the game for only one minute, when he tucked away a pass from Peter Byers to secure the win and a berth in the second round.  Byers (55’) had equalized after an own-goal by Karanja Mack (21’) gave the Dominicans a lead.  The Dominican Republic was reduced to 10 men in the 62nd minute following Rafael Leonardo’s ejection for a second yellow card.

Group 6 (at Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis – Warner Park)

St. Lucia 2, Guyana 0

Goals either side of the half lifted St. Lucia (1-1-0, 4 points) to a 2-0 win over Guyana (0-1-1, 1 point).  Burton Emanuel (14’) opened the scoring with a well-placed header, while Jamal John (84’) completed the victory with a late goal.

St. Kitts & Nevis 5, Dominica 0

St. Kitts & Nevis (1-1-0, 4 points) produced a clinical performance in a 5-0 win over Dominica (0-1-1, 1 point).  Coming off a 0-0 stalemate with St. Lucia on Wednesday, the host – supported by a crowd of 3,500 – raced out to a 3-0 lead before 30 minutes had elapsed.  An own-goal by Dominica’s Kervin Lawrence (3’) got things rolling and Romaine Sawyers (18’) doubled the advantage from the penalty spot.  Atiba Harris (29’) essentially put the game out of reach shortly afterwards.  St. Kitts added two second half goals from Zephaniah Thomas (77’) and Jovaughne Leader (85’).
