PANAMA CITY, Panama – Panama head coach Hernan Dario Gomez presented on Wednesday a list of 22 players called up for an international friendly against visiting Ecuador, which will be played on June 3 at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez.
Highlighting the roster is midfielder Gabriel Gomez, who won the 2015 Costa Rica Verano title with Herediano on Saturday.
Two players from Major League Soccer’s FC Dallas also earned inclusion. Forward Blas Perez, 34, has scored five goals in 10 games this season, while midfielder Rolando Escobar joined the Western Conference leader on Tuesday from Deportivo Anzoátegui of Venezuela.
The team will go into concentration on Thursday, remaining together to train through game day.
Ecuador will host Panama on June 6 at the Estadio George Capwell in Guayaquil.
