GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala – Guatemala head coach Ivan Sopegno has called up 26 players for a national team training camp this week that includes a midweek international friendly.

It will be the ninth such gathering under Sopegno’s direction, since he was hired in May from four-time defending Guatemalan champion Comunicaciones.

The Guatemalans, who are preparing for next month’s Copa Centroamericana, will host Nicaragua on Thursday at the Estadio Pensativo in Antigua.
