President of the GFA, Cheney Joseph met with officials and players of Hurricanes FC this afternoon to discuss areas of concerns expressed by the club. Hurricanes were seeking clarity regarding their home games for the 2013 GFA season.

President Cheney Joseph, provided cogent reasons why all home matches of Hurricanes has been shifted to the Cuthbert Peters Park in St. John’s versus the club’s preferred home ground of Alston George Park in Victoria, St. Mark’s.

The GFA is seeking to increase revenue through gate receipts in its domestic competition and has schedule all Premier League matches for venues which facilitates patrons paying to see matches.
