SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador – El Salvador will travel to Guatemala with an 18-player for the first leg of a playoff that will determine Central America’s last representative in the 2015 CONCACAF Under-17 Championship, the Salvadoran Football Federation announced Wednesday.

The Guatemalans will host the series opener on Saturday at the Estadio Julio Armando Cobar in Petapa, while the return leg series is slated for January 24 at the Estadio Cuscatlan in San Salvador.

To reach the playoff, El Salvador finished runner-up to Costa Rica in Triangular I of Central American qualifying.  It defeated Belize 7-0 thanks to a pair of goals each by Jordi Bonilla and Carlos Herrera, before falling narrowly to Costa Rica, 2-1.
