Curacao U20s look to bounce back Thursday
PUEBLA, Mexico - While three teams have already booked their places in the quarterfinals of the 2013 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship, four sides will be looking to register their first points of the competition on Thursday at the Estadio Cuauhtemoc in Puebla.

Panama v Puerto Rico, 6:30 p.m. ET

Group D
El Salvador v Curacao, 9:00 p.m. ET

Here are some other storylines to watch:

•  Curacao turned in a strong second-half performance against Mexico in a 3-0 loss on Tuesday. Can they maintain that form against El Salvador, which is playing its first game in the tournament?

•  Reid Strain was Puerto Rico's top scorer in Caribbean qualifying with three goals and he netted again in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Jamaica. Can he help the Boricuas to victory against Panama?

•  El Salvador Jairo Henriquez had two goals in Central American qualifying. Will the midfielder by able to steer his team to three points against Curacao?

•  In two Central American qualifying matches, Panama had a one-goal win and one-goal loss. How will it perform tonight against Puerto Rico?

The top two teams from each group advance to the quarterfinals, the winners of which will progress to the competition's semifinals and qualify for the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey.

Costa Rica, Cuba and the United States are the first three teams to clinch advancement to the knockout phase.

The 12-team event runs through March 3.
