Curacao and Suriname battle for a draw in Group H

BRADENTON, Fla. - Curacao and Suriname battle for a stalemate in the first game for both teams in Group H of the 2019 Concacaf  Under-17 Championship on Thursday at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Suriname scored the first goal in the 14th minute when Geraldo Reumel managed to score off a pass from Faisijo Burnet to establish the  1-0 led.

Curacao was left with ten men when Alrick Conroy Pantophlet received a second yellow card and then at the 37th minute managed to tie the score with Shanyon Anita’s shot from close range after a rejection of Suriname goalkeeper.

On the Match-day two of group H to be played on May 4, Curacao will face Costa Rica, and Suriname will go against Panama.
