SAN JOSE, Costa Rica.- Costa Rica announced Tuesday its 21-player roster for the 2014 FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup, which it will host, March 15-April 4.

The team will be making its second appearance in the competition, but first since the inaugural edition in 2008.

Included in the selection is 14-year-old midfielder Gloriana Villalobos, who was a standout performer during the Ticas’ run to a third-place finish at the 2014 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship in January.

Costa Rica will open Group A play on March 15 against Venezuela at the Estadio Nacional in San Jose, before facing Italy (March 18) and Zambia (March 22).
