MIAMI, Florida – National team doctors from around the Concacaf region are coming together to provide fans an important message about public health in tackling the spread of COVID-19.

Led by Dr. George Chiampas, the Chief Medical Officer of U.S. Soccer and the Chairman of the Concacaf Medical Committee, five doctors are offering five easy steps so that fans can stay safe: Wash your hands; use a tissue or your elbow when coughing or sneezing; avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes; practice social distancing and if feeling unwell, stay at home and follow guidelines from local health authorities.

Along with Dr. Chiampas, the doctors taking part in this important video are: Dr. Gerinaldo Martinez of Panama, Dr. Wallid Elhage of Curacao, Dr. Patricia Symonette of Bahamas, Dr. Sylvain Vigot of Martinique and Dr. Alejandro Ramirez of Costa Rica.

Thanks to the guidance of Dr. Chiampas and the Concacaf National Team doctors, fans from across the region can share this message with their respective communities to ensure that everyone can stay healthy.
