CONCACAF Executive Committee Imposes Ban on Enrique Sanz

MIAMI (Monday, June 1, 2015) -- The Executive Committee of The Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) today took action to provisionally ban Enrique Sanz from participation in any CONCACAF related activities, pending the outcome of an on-going investigation of the FIFA Ethics Committee. 

Sanz acted as General Secretary of the Confederation until May 28, 2015, when he was placed on leave from his duties by the Executive Committee.  

Sanz has also been provisionally suspended from all football related activities at the national and international levels by decision of the Chairman of the Adjudicatory Chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee, pending a decision on allegations made against him.
