Columbus Crew have qualified for the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup as 2023 MLS Cup champions.
It will be the fifth appearance for the Columbus Crew in the Champions Cup. The club will start the competition in the Round of 16. Columbus debuted in the tournament in 2003 and made their last appearance in the 2021 edition when they reached the quarterfinals. That matched the Crew’s best-ever finish in the Champions Cup, as they also finished as quarterfinalists in 2003, 2009-10 and 2010-11.
Overall, Columbus have a record of 10W-5D-9L in the Champions Cup, with 33 goals scored and 35 goals conceded. Edson Buddle and Steven Lenhart are the Crew’s all-time top scorers in the Champions Cup with four goals each. Emmanuel Ekpo has the most appearances with 14 games.
