BAYAMON, Puerto Rico – Jamaican power Portmore United will launch its bid for a second Caribbean Club Championship title on Tuesday, when it meets the Cayman Islands’ Scholars International in a first-round match on Tuesday at the Estadio Juan Ramon Loubriel.
Founded as Hazard United in 1982 -- and renamed in 2003 -- Portmore United captured the Caribbean crown in 2005.
