MIAMI BEACH, Florida - Host Guatemala will face defending champion Canada, Panama and Jamaica in Group A of the first round of the CONCACAF Under-17 Women's Championship.

Sunday's draw at the Miami offices of the confederation also pitted the United States against Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago and the Bahamas in Group B.

The full schedule for the May 2-12 event at Estadio Cementos Progresso is expected before the end of the week.

The third edition of the championship will decide CONCACAF's three berths for the U-17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan September 22-October 13.

This will be the first appearance in the CONCACAF U-17 women's finals for both the Bahamas and Guatemala, which hosted the U-20 women's championship in 2010.
