OTTAWA - Goalkeeper Karina LeBlanc and striker Christine Sinclair led a list of 12 players on the Canadian roster who will return to the Olympics for the second straight time, topping the country's 18-woman slate announced Monday.

Both Sinclair and LeBlanc, who have more than 100 appearances each for the Canadian women's national team, were among 14 members selected by coach John Herdman that also won the 2010 CONCACAF women's championship in Cancun, Mexico.

Canada will open the London Games against reigning Women's World Cup champion Japan on July 25 in Coventry , England, face South Africa three days later in the same city before finishing the group stage against Sweden in Newcastle.
