PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad - Antigua and Barbuda won a drawing of lots with the Dominican Republic on Wednesday and will advance to the second round of Caribbean Women's Gold Cup qualifying, joining Haiti, Puerto Rico and host Cuba in Group G.

The two countries were forced into a draw after they finished tied for the best second-placed team among the five first-round groups, both finishing with three points, a goal difference of plus-1 - with four goals scored and three allowed.

Debbie Minguell, assistant to Caribbean Football Union Acting General Secretary Neville Ferguson, was the individual who drew Antigua's name.

Because of travel difficulties for Barbados and Haiti within the Caribbean, the CFU has reconfigured the groups and schedule that was previously announced.

Originally slated for Group F with Guyana and Haiti to play in Marabella, Trinidad, Antigua and Haiti were moved to Group G in Cuba to play Puerto Rico and the host.

Additionally, St. Lucia and Barbados were moved to Group F and now will play against Trinidad and Guayana in Trinidad.

Both groups will be played simultaneously May 10-14.

The group winners will qualify for the Women's Gold Cup in late October-early November at a venue yet-to- be announced while the group winners, best runner-up and host Puerto Rico will qualify for the Central American and Caribbean Games set for July 17-August 1 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
