GEORGETOWN, Guyana - Alison Heydorn scored for the second time in three days and gave Guyana a 1-0 victory over St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Sunday, sending it to the second round of Caribbean qualifying for the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup.
Heydorn also scored in Friday's 2-0 win over Suriname. The victory completed Guyana at the top of the three-team Group A.
The five first-round group winners and three best runners-up advance, from which four will qualify to the Central American and Caribbean Games and two will go to the Women's Gold Cup in late October and November.
Suriname defeated St. Vincent 1-0 on Wednesday to finish second in the group.
