MEXICO CITY - Manchester United's Javier Hernandez highlighted a list of 23 players named by Mexico on Thursday to the roster for its CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying final round opener on February 6 against visiting Jamaica.

The Tricolor will convene on Sunday at the Mexican Football Federation's Centro de Alto Rendimiento to prepare for the match.

Mexico drew 1-1 with Denmark in a friendly on Wednesday with a completely domestic-based squad. In addition to Hernandez, the six-time CONCACAF Gold Cup champion summoned three other European-based players: Giovani Dos Santos (Mallorca), Andrés Guardado (Valencia) and Héctor Moreno (Espanyol).

Hernandez, who has 28 goals in 43 international appearances for El Tri, is enjoying another stellar season with the English Premier League's current first-place side. The 24-year-old has scored 14 goals in 24 games in all competitions, including eight in 13 league outings.

Mexico has progressed to the finals of six-consecutive World Cups and is unbeaten in 12-straight qualifiers. Its last loss (2-1) came at El Salvador on June 6, 2009.
