Walter Gama, who worked as an assistant under fellow Brazilian Rene Simoes when he coached Jamaica's senior side, has taken over as manager of the Reggae Boyz' U-20 side following Wendell Downswell's resignation in February to concentrate on the country's U-17 World Cup campaign. Jamaica has employed the same training regimen as their U-17 counterparts, heading to Brazil for a three-week pre-tournament camp in preparation before heading to Guatemala.
