GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala - The quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship open tonight with a doubleheader at the Estadio Mateo Flores.The winners earn semifinal berths, as well as tickets to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia, July 29 - August 20, 2011.

COSTA RICA vs. CUBA, 5 p.m. (local), 7 p.m. (ET)

Costa Rica is 2-0-0 (7 goals for, 2 goal against) against Cuba In two all-time meetings at the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship.They have not met since April 4, 1998...a 4-1 win for the Ticos in a game also played, coincidentally, in Guatemala City.

·Won Group C, going 2-0-0 (6 goals for, 0 goals against) with wins over Guadeloupe (3-0) and Canada (3-0).

·Joel Campbell is the team's top scorer with three goals, including two against Guadeloupe.

At the 2009 CONCACAF Men's Under-20 Championship in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada defeated Mexico 2-0 thanks to a pair of goals from Randy Edwini-Bonsu. Neither Canada nor Mexico qualified for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt that same year.
