The result also ensured that Honduras will advance from Group D, while U-17 championship debutante Barbados was eliminated with its second loss in as many games.

The Canadians dominated from the opening whistle, outshooting Barbados 28-3, and took the lead on Petrasso's first goal in the 12th minute.

Barbados struggled to get out of its own end, and, two minutes later, Canada doubled its lead on a goal by Said Jalali.

Canada continuously found space in front of the Barbados net, and Chris Nanco capitalized in the 23rd minute.

Just before the half-hour mark, a mistimed back pass from Diquan Adamson was intercepted by Petrasso, and the 15-year-old simply rolled the ball into the net from 18 meters.

Aleman added to Canada's lead with goals in the 33rd and 48th minutes before the North American dominance slowed.

Petrasso found the far-side netting in the 56th, while substitute Wesley Cain completed the scoring with 17 minutes remaining.

The victory moved Canada to the top of Group D, equal on points with Honduras, and will need only a draw with "Los Catrachos" on Saturday to have seeding in the knockout round.
