MACOYA, Trinidad - Jomal Williams scored a pair of first-half goals to lead Trinidad and Tobago into the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship with a 2-1 victory over Bermuda on Sunday.

Trinidad's victory finished it atop Caribbean second-round qualifying Group E with seven points, just ahead of Cuba, which also qualified for the 12-team finals.

Cuba finished off its qualifying run with a 1-0 victory over St. Kitts & Nevis on a 58th-minute tally by Dairon Perez.

The pair becomes the first two teams to qualify for the CONCACAF U-17 finals. Three more Caribbean teams will be determined when Group F plays. Central America gets four berths in the finals along with the three North American sides: Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Group F was scheduled to be played in Jamaica, but those games have been postponed until further notice.

Trinidad claimed the top spot in the group based on its opening 8-0 victory over St. Kitts on Wednesday, led by a five-goal game by Shackiel Henry. Perez also had a pair of goals in Cuba's opening 3-1 victory over Bermuda.

Trindad and Cuba played to a 0-0 draw in their head-to-head meeting on Friday.
