FIFA Standard Statutes meetings in Miami
Representatives from FIFA met with individual CONCACAF national associations throughout this past weekend at the Confederation's offices in Miami.
The primary item on the agenda was FIFA Standard Statutes and how associations can best work towards their adoption.
FIFA Standard Statutes provide a template of statutes intended to assist an association in the organization of its administrative, judicial and legislative bodies.
The meeting's focused on the world governing body's anticipation that member associations will embrace the statutes and incorporate them into their normal operations.
FIFA first traveled to Havana to meet with the Cuban Football Association before heading to Miami for a series meetings with other national associations, including those from Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Guyana and Jamaica.
